We'll meet once a week via Zoom for a two-hour engaging, interactive Willow Workshop®. Through guided reflection, solo writing, and small-group conversation this course will help you reflect on your values, understand your options, clarify wishes, and express what dignity and comfort look like for you. The fourth part of the course is a private advanced care planning session that supports documenting and discussing your directives with loved ones.

When: Friday, January 16th 12-2p ETYour experiences with illness, death, and grief have shaped your sense of what’s possible for your own end-of-life care. You likely have hopes and fears about what might happen—and who will make decisions if you can’t. This engaging, interactive Willow Workshop® that helps you reflect on values, clarify wishes, and express what dignity and comfort look like for you.
Through guided reflection, solo writing, and small-group conversation, you’ll explore how past experiences inform your preferences, and name what “quality of life” means to you. You’ll leave with a first draft of your wishes plus gentle next steps to keep the conversation going—and to prepare for Part II.
In this workshop, you will:
Identify what dignity, comfort, and quality of life mean to you and how they shape your care preferences.
Begin a written summary of your wishes (health-care and personal-care) you can share and refine over time.
Gain the clarity and confidence to talk about your wishes with the people who matter most.
Empowered Choices Part II: Getting Your End-of-Life Documents in Place; a Willow Workshop®

Getting your end-of-life documents in place is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give yourself and those who may care for you. Yet many of us delay this essential task—unsure where to start or feeling overwhelmed by legal language and emotional weight.
In this practical and engaging Willow Workshop®, you’ll learn what documents matter most, explore who you trust to speak as you in times of illness or incapacity, and clarify how you want to be cared for—especially when it comes to life support and other “heroic measures.” You’ll leave feeling more confident and at peace, with clear next steps to complete and legalize your forms.

Clarify your medical care preferences—including when to accept, decline, or stop life support and other “heroic measures.”

Empowered Choices Part III: Getting Your Estate Planning in Place; a Willow Workshop®

Getting your estate planning in place is one of the most meaningful gifts you can leave behind. Without a will or a financial power of attorney, others may be left struggling with confusion, conflict, or costly court processes.
This practical, heart-centered workshop will help you understand the essential estate planning documents—your will and financial power of attorney—and how to choose the right people for these important roles.
But documents alone aren’t enough. Through guided reflection and conversation, you’ll learn how to share your wishes with those you trust most, creating clarity, reducing conflict, and building emotional peace of mind. You’ll leave feeling empowered, connected, and ready to take the next steps.
In this workshop, you will:
Gain the confidence to create or update your legal documents so they reflect your values.
Understand the purpose and scope of a financial power of attorney
Explore the options for how to write your will

Empowered Choices Part IV: Documenting and Discussing Your Advanced Directives
