Because the life you are planning for deserves the same care as the life you are living now. *
You've spent years learning what your body needs to feel strong. What your mind needs to stay sharp. What your spirit needs to feel whole. Future planning belongs in that same category of self-care, not separate from it.
Over six small-group gatherings, we'll explore your healthcare choices, who you trust to speak for you, why a will matters even when death feels far away, and how you want your legacy and your love to be known. This isn't about preparing to die. It's about staying empowered in your own life, at every age you live it.
Come with a friend, a sister, a walking group companion. These are conversations best had in good company.

We'll gather for coffee and connection, walk through a future planning checklist together, and get a real feel for what this work looks like before the full series begins. FUTURE PLANNING SERIES
Over six small-group gatherings, we'll explore your healthcare choices, who you trust to speak for you, why a will matters even when death feels far away, and how you want your legacy and your love to be known. This isn't about preparing to die. It's about staying empowered in your own life, at every age you live it. Here’s a brief description of each module in the series:
Session One: What Matters Most
October 6
Before any document or decision, there's a deeper question: what does a good life, and a good end of life, actually look like for you? We'll spend this first gathering in reflection and conversation, naming your values and priorities in your own words. You'll leave with a clear personal foundation that every session after this one will build on.
Session Two: Healthcare Choices — Living Wills & Advance Directives
October 20
What kind of care do you want if you become seriously ill or unable to speak for yourself? We'll walk through the real decisions behind a living will and advance directive, translating your wishes into language your family and medical team can actually follow. You'll leave with clarity on your own healthcare choices, not just a form to fill out later.
Session Three: Who to Choose
November 3
Who will make medical decisions and speak as you, if you're ever unable to do so yourself? Who will manage your bills, insurance, and financial affairs if you can't, temporarily or permanently? Who do you trust to settle your estate and carry out your wishes after you've died? We'll work through each of these roles one at a time, so you leave knowing exactly who you trust, and how to ask them.
Session Four: Why You Need a Will
November 17
After you die, a will is the legal document the courts rely on to carry out your wishes and settle your estate, and without one, that decision is left to the state, not to you. Using a guided will-making workbook, we'll help you gather your thoughts, work through your choices, and discuss your options for will-making whether you use an online will, a will-making kit, or an estate planning lawyer. You'll leave with all the information you’ll need to create a will, not just a to-do list.
Session Five: After-Death Care — Funeral & Memorial Planning
December 1
How do you want to be cared for after you die, and how do you want to be remembered? We'll explore your options for funeral and memorial planning, from practical logistics to the tone and meaning you want the moment to hold. You'll leave with your wishes named and written down, one of the clearest gifts you can give the people who love you.
Session Six: Share Your Love
December 15
What do you want the people you love to know, to keep, and to carry forward? In this closing gathering, we'll turn from planning toward legacy, and you'll begin writing the words you want remembered. You'll leave with something started in your own hand, and a plan for finishing it.
Pricing:
Early-Bird Registration by Sept 30: $500.
After Sept 30: $575
Payment plan options are available.
